Our ProXplorers will use their knowledge, understanding and technical skills to build on their creative digital portfolio. Using specialist software, they will gain an understanding of industry practice in a fun, engaging environment. Students will gain a clear understanding of key computing concepts and the fundamentals of computing systems.
Throughout the programme children will use a wide variety of software and hardware enhancing their computing skills and confidence. Students will be encouraged to work collaboratively to solve problems and discuss creative decisions and solutions.
How It Works....
Our classes are aligned alongside the school calendar and designed to deliver a learning journey in computing. The weekly classes are led by our specialist instructors;
The children see the academy as a fun place to go, be creative and learn cool new skills,
Parents are delighted with seeing the excitement on their children's faces and seeing what they can achieve from the educational content delivered.
The classes are run on a subscription basis and work out as little as £10 per week, we set up a Direct Debit with you to cover £40 per month over the school year. Each class is held at the same time on saturday morning's at currently a choice of 2 venue's in either Romsey or Southampton.

This class is covered by a regular payment every month.
Subscription: 1. Academy learning journeys are run on a subscription basis,
2. Subscription payments are taken a month in advance on the 1st of each month,
3. If an Academy Class is cancelled due to school closure or cancelled by the school, the class will be rescheduled where possible. This may include converting the class to an online format.
4. For a course to run there must be a minimum number of participants. Should the minimum number not be achieved you will be notified and a full refund given, if money has already been accepted.
5. Each class year runs from September through to July the following year.
6. Your subscription will automatically end at the end of the July, you will need to re-enroll your child/children for the following year which will restart on the 2nd week of the new school year.
7. Cancellation should be made in writing and 30 days notice should be given. There may be an option to pause the subscription in the event of emergencies.
